East Kent is easy to get to, whether you are travelling by car, train. Improvements to the A2 / M2 road and the recently widened A299 have considerably improved the journey. Two fast train services each hour connect Herne Bay with Victoria Station London. From Dover there are regular ferry crossings to France. There are also flights from some European Countries to Manston Kent International Airport.
